What is Alpha Rev?
Alpha Rev is a free stock and crypto ticker that scores every symbol with a composite technical engine and returns one verdict: strong buy, buy, hold, sell or strong sell.
How are the buy and sell signals calculated?
Eight independent components are weighted and combined: EMA stack, 200-period regime, MACD, RSI, stochastic, ADX, Bollinger %B and on-balance volume. Weights are re-tuned for the market regime, then checked against the weekly timeframe, relative strength and volume shelves.
Does Alpha Rev show order book walls?
For crypto it shows the live exchange order book, including resting buy and sell walls. For stocks, live depth is a licensed paid feed, so Alpha Rev shows a traded-volume profile instead and labels it as such.
Is Alpha Rev financial advice?
No. Every reading comes from price and volume history only. It is technical analysis for research, with no fundamental or news input.
