iPhone and iPad

1. Open this site in Safari (not Chrome — only Safari can install).
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
4. Open Alpha Rev from the new icon. Background alerts only work when it is opened this way.

Android

1. Open this site in Chrome.
2. Press Install on this device above, or the menu → Install app.
3. Confirm. It lands in your app drawer like any other app.

Windows, Mac and Linux

1. Open this site in Chrome or Edge.
2. Press Install on this device, or click the install icon at the right of the address bar.
3. It opens in its own window and can be pinned to the taskbar or dock.

Roku

Roku runs its own kind of app, so the TV version is a separate channel. Use the alpha-rev-roku.zip from your download — nothing to edit, nothing to re-zip.

1. On the Roku remote press Home Home Home, Up Up, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right. Choose Enable installer and restart, set a password, and note the IP address shown.
2. On a computer or phone, open that IP in a browser (e.g. http://192.168.1.50). Log in as rokudev with that password.
3. Upload alpha-rev-roku.zip and press Install.
4. On the TV, type your site address when it asks — alpharev.app, no https:// needed — and choose Save.

On the remote: OK refreshes · * changes the site address · Back exits.

Sideloaded channels stay installed through reboots and live on that one Roku. Listing in the Roku Channel Store is a separate submission through a Roku developer account.
